The machinery that goes into making a tool that revolutionized civlization (2nd only to fire) is awesome. I love guns. I love the smell of powder after the primer is struck and the flash that erupts out of the barrel as the bullet exits. I also love to tinker, fix, and improve a design.

So, becoming a GunSmith is a perfect marriage of passion and ability. I studied through the American Gunsmithing Institute (AGI) in their Master Program and Specialized as a Firearms Appraiser, 1911 Pistolsmith, AR-15/M4 Riflesmith, Cowboy Action Armorer, Glocksmith, and Law Enforcement Armorer.

I also enjoy competition shooting and try to attend USPSA meets as often as schedule allows. If I competed I would be one of the slowest on the course but it's a good thing that trigger speed does not qualify a GunSmith.
